AUSTIN — The Dallas Stars have become the first professional sports franchise to publicly oppose the Texas "bathroom bill." "The Dallas Stars stands strongly opposed to any legislation perceived as discriminatory, including proposed bathroom legislation," President James R. Lites said Wednesday. Amazon Treasure Truck hits Dallas streets today, and here’s where it will be

Dallas’ Amazon Treasure Truck arrives today at 11 a.m. Lower Greenville is the first stop for the e-commerce giant’s attempt at a little guerilla marketing and salesmanship in the form of a truck that stocks just one, must-have item for each appearance. Dallas Street Choir join 17 Manhattan homeless shelter residents to play Carnegie Hall

AP NEW YORK — They’re homeless, but a group of men and women from Dallas has made it to Carnegie Hall. The storied New York City concert hall is the venue Wednesday evening for a performance by the Dallas Street Choir, all singers recruited from urban streets and homeless shelters that has been performing since 2015. New Dallas investment fund buys Hilton Park Cities

A new Dallas-based investment fund that plans to acquire up to $250 million in properties has already made its first purchase. Woodbine Development Corp. has set up the company to purchase hotels in markets across the country. Called Woodbine Legacy Investments, it recently acquired the 224-room Hilton Dallas Park Cities hotel located near Northwest Highway and the Dallas North Tollway.
